The Importance Of Customer Service
Have you ever thought of customer service as a very important part of your business?
By implanting a good customer service in your internet business you will be taking advantage of one of the most neglected elements in a large number of companies. Customer service.
Good customer service, not only retains old customers, but also gets new ones by being recommended by others.
Recently I was hanged up on from a customer service toll free number operator all the way from India. This fact alone made me think about the very large company attached to that call center and their customer service.
A situation like this really doesn't make the company look good, does it?
In one of my articles I once wrote about the case of network marketers who have people joining their business under them and when that's done just kind of disappear. "Uplines" should see people who join the company under their ID# as customers. Many just fail to do that, and this is one of the reasons why there is a tremendous drop out. So again, Network Marketers, your downline, even though is a distributor of his own, is also your customer, since you BROUGHT HIM INTO THE BUSINESS.
This is true for any and every business from a law office to a grocery store. Customer service can make or break a business. This is even true for affiliate marketing. If I sell you One Week Marketing Action Plan but disappear right after, what are my chances to gain your trust and continue in this business very long.
Take the example of one of the largest store in the United States, Wal-Mart. Their customer service is impeccable. 
They take back anything you might bring them with or without receipt and with no questions asked. Why? They want to keep you as a customer, and they know that the only way to keep a customer is to give them the most practical customer service. They also understand that what you are returning is not worth losing your business which will always be greater than your returns.
If a company as big as Wal-Mart can't afford to lose you as a customer, you can't afford to lose that one customer either. If that one customer is unhappy about your customer service he will tell at least 5-10 people who in turn... you get the picture?
Bottom line, if you are a realtor, a network marketer, a store, or business owner you must think customer service first and last.
Don't fall in the trap of giving great customer service before the sale, and ignoring your customers needs after the sale. It requires more efforts to acquire new customers than it does to keep old ones. With this in mind it makes it worth your while to offer your customer an outstanding customer service.
